Education and Background
Mark’s educational journey began at the prestigious University of North Texas, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Seeking to expand his knowledge and skills in the realm of rehabilitation, he furthered his studies at Texas Women’s University. In 2020, Mark proudly attained a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, setting the stage for his impactful career.
A Personal Connection to Hand Therapy
Mark’s introduction to the world of hand therapy came through a life-altering experience. In 2014, he was involved in an ATV accident that led to the loss of his right ring and middle fingers. This challenging event ignited his connection with D&D Sports Medicine, where he embarked on a journey of rehabilitation and recovery. Through months of expert Occupational therapy intervention, Mark not only regained his hand function but also discovered his profound passion for hand therapy.
