How does ultrasound work?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ultrasound uses sound waves to treat a vast variety of conditions that affect the bones, muscles, and ligaments. These sound waves create vibrations that generate heat. When the tissues vibrate, friction is produced at a molecular level that causes the temperature of the tissues to rise, which relieves pain and inflammation.
