Our Story
Main Street Therapy Partner’s story begins in 1986 with the founder, Renée Halfhill, LPT, starting Blue Sky Therapy in her hometown of Canfield, OH. The Blue Sky business model was to provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home health agencies. Renée and her team quickly grew the business to reach all of Ohio and into surrounding states. Fast forward a few decades, diversification across the physical therapy space felt timely so she opened the first Blue Sky Therapy Outpatient Clinic in Warren, OH in 2008. After growing the Outpatient division successfully to 14 locations, the natural progression was to branch off from the Blue Sky name, thus the formation of Main Street Therapy Partners.
The Main Street approach sees that our partnered brands maintain their unique identity to further solidify the community reputation they’ve built along their journey. We have built out back office systems and teams to bring our partners and clinic employees peace of mind and the ability to focus on their patients and personal goals while ultimately supporting the unique needs of each brand.
At the core of Main Street Therapy Partners lies a mission: to provide patient and employee satisfaction in all things we do. By keeping education as a core pillar of our company, we seek out highly experienced clinicians and advocate that our employees continue to pursue areas of passion which we share throughout our organization via our clinical mentorship program.
